HVAC stands for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning. HVAC Systems are a very important part of the home’s systems in Florida. Without a good running HVAC system, it heats up fast.
To keep your HVAC system in top shape there are some basic maintenance things you can do. The first and most important is changing your Filter. Change your HVAC filter every 60 days. This is how the system breaths and the more clogged up the filter is the harder your HVAC works to pull air through. Also this is what keeps the air in your home clean. The second thing you can do and pour about a half a cup of white vinegar down the drain line every 60 to 90 days to keep it clean. If the line gets backed up the system can shut off and doesn’t run as efficiently. The third thing I suggest everyone do is have and annual HVAC technician come your system a tune up. The systems that last the longest are the ones that are maintained. HVAC systems are just like any other working item, they need maintenance to run at their best.
